Meet The Team
Stephen is a Director of Adderley, Hill & Co and deals predominantly with client contact, meetings, business development and the overseeing of the accounts production team. He also likes to remain hands on and gets involved in accounts, forecasts and assists clients to overcome obstacles such as raising finance and obtaining mortgages. Stephen has vast experience in the field having joined the industry from school in 2005, passing his AAT in 2009 and is currently working towards his ACCA qualification.
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys spending time with family including his son Sebastian. He has an interest in cars, is a season ticket holder at Birmingham City FC and takes his son when possible.
Top of Stephen’s bucket list is to build his own home and to one day own an Audi R8.
Felicity Adderley–Hill | Director
Felicity is a Director of Adderley, Hill & Co having previously spent eight years at another local accountancy firm. Felicity is qualified by experience having worked closely with a Chartered Accountant in her previous position since 2008. Her role includes the general running of the practice, overseeing the administration team, meeting with clients and providing both accountancy and taxation advice/planning. Felicity also advises, manages and administers Auto Enrolment.
In Felicity’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping and dining out.
Top of her bucket list is to design and build her own home.
Grant Moss | Senior Accounts Manager
After working alongside Stephen in a previous role, Grant has joined Adderley, Hill & Co to help manage and achieve staff results. Grant has a wealth of knowledge gained over seven years working in the field. He is currently completing his AAT Level 4 and looking towards becoming ACCA qualified.
Grant’s main responsibilities are to oversee and help develop the accounts and administration team and to prepare Statutory Accounts, Personal Tax Returns and VAT Returns. As a forward thinking team player, he helps create and introduce systems to streamline our internal processes.
In his spare time Grant enjoys playing guitar and drums, cycling, watching football and dining out.
Top of Grant’s bucket list is to visit Norway to see the Northern Lights.
Tom Hall | Senior Accountant
Tom joined Adderley, Hill & Co in July 2017 as an Senior Accountant. After becoming AAT qualified in 2013 Tom has spent the past four years working in practice dealing with clients of varying sizes and in various industries. Tom’s responsibilities at Adderley, Hill & Co are varied and include overseeing the accounts preparation team whilst also preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as preparing the relevant supporting tax returns. Tom also has a hand in personal tax returns and HMRC enquiry work. Tom liaises with clients on a daily basis for a variety of queries so you might just be hearing from him soon. Outside of life at Adderley, Hill & Co, Tom is a keen sports fan with his favourite sport being football. As well as playing twice a week, Tom goes to watch his team Aston Villa (unfortunately for him!) as often as possible.
Top of Tom’s bucket list is to travel the world and to see Villa win the Premier League title.
Lesley Dickinson | Bookkeeper and Accounts Assistant
Having completed her degree in French & Linguistics-Phonetics, Lesley spent three years in Export Credit Control. After taking a career break to raise her children, Lesley worked for 19 years in the Sixth Form sector in Admissions & Student Funding. She then retrained and completed her AAT Level 2 Diploma in bookkeeping and has spent the last two and half years working in practice as a bookkeeper. Her primary role is bookkeeping for clients using our regular bookkeeping service, as well as preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns and providing support to our payroll function.
When not at work you can find Lesley at the gym or walking around the local countryside. Lesley loves reading and is a member of a book club and also sings with her local branch of Rock Choir.
Top of her bucket list is to tour the Scottish Islands for several months, followed by more of the same in New Zealand!
Neil Breillat | Accounts Administrator
Neil joined Adderley, Hill and Co in October 2017 after working in both the public and private sector for many years.
As an Accounts Administrator for Adderley, Hill and Co, Neil is primarily tasked with new company formations, handling queries from self-employed contractors and providing them with ancillary support.
Away from work Neil enjoys music, travel, and watching rugby, cricket and football.
Top of Neil’s bucket list is to visit both the USA and Australia for extended trips.
Daniel Fisher | Accounts Assistant
Daniel joined Adderley, Hill & Co in 2015 as an Apprentice. Since joining, he has completed his AAT Level 3 in Accountancy & Bookkeeping and will is studying towards his Level 4 qualification. Daniel likes to keep busy, some of his main responsibilities are; preparing & filing VAT returns, preparing personal tax returns, preparing accounts and corporation tax returns for Director review. He is always on hand to help with any queries clients have and is a friendly and approachable member of the team. Daniel is often one of the first points of contact for our clients.
Outside of work, Daniel loves football and enjoys watching his beloved Birmingham City FC. He also enjoys swimming and playing Xbox with his friends.
Top of Daniel’s bucket list is to visit ‘The Severn Rila Lakes’ in Bulgaria, known for their outstanding beauty and iconic waterfalls. If you have not heard of them, they are definitely worth a look!
Ashleigh White | Accounts Assistant
After initially exploring a career in Public Services, Ashleigh then focused on training in Accountancy following the birth of her daughter. Ashleigh has been working in practice since March 2016 as a Trainee Accounts Assistant. Her main responsibilities within Adderley, Hill & Co are the preparation of sole trader accounts, personal tax, VAT returns and bookkeeping. Ashleigh completed her AAT Level 4 in March 2018.
Outside of the work place, Ashleigh looks after her little girl, catches up on Netflix and spends time with family and friends.
The top of Ashleigh’s bucket list is to buy her own house.
Jayne Tingle | Office Manager
Jayne joined the team in March 2017 as Office Manager and has 14 years’ experience working in the professional services sector working in a variety of Business Development and Marketing roles. Jayne’s main responsibilities include the supervision of the administration team, company secretarial duties, compliance matters, marketing tasks such as website management, social media, client newsletters and generally helping to keep the office run smoothly.
Most of Jayne’s spare time is taken up by her two young children but she also enjoys swimming, keeping fit, cooking and socialising with friends and family.
Top of Jayne’s bucket list is to visit Australia and New Zealand.
Jayne is in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Olivia Smith | Payroll Administrator
Olivia joined the team in February 2018 and prior to this Olivia has held a number of management roles. Olivia’s main role is client payroll; however she also deals with HMRC and Companies House, client queries and provides general administrative support.
Outside of work Olivia enjoys socialising with friends and family, travelling to new places and dining out.
Top of Olivia’s bucket list is to visit the Maldives and snorkel with turtles.
Sharna Donovan | Business & Administration Apprentice
Sharna joined Adderley, Hill & Co in October 2016 as an Apprentice. After completing her GCSE’s Sharna joined us to pursue a career in business administration. Some of Sharna’s main responsibilities are meeting and greeting clients, dealing with client queries, liaising with HMRC on various matters and helping others in the work place. Sharna is always available to make sure any queries are resolved promptly and is a friendly, key member of the team.
Outside of the work place, Sharna likes to socialise with friends and keep fit.
The top of Sharna’s bucket list is to Scuba Dive in the Great Barrier Reef and to go travelling – “I believe both would be amazing experiences”.
Natalie Wardle | Administrator
Having previously worked for Stephen and Felicity, Natalie has re-joined the team to assist with high volumes of correspondence received daily and also deals with general administration as required.
Away from the desk Natalie loves to dine out with family and friends, enjoys camping and keeping fit at the gym.
Top of her bucket list is to volunteer in a rescue centre for Elephants and other animals in Thailand.
Jared Darby | Accounts Apprentice
Jared joins the team as an Accounts Apprentice and his tasks involve assisting with VAT returns, data entry and providing general support for the wider accounts team. He has recently gained A-levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics and is currently studying for his AAT Level 3.
His hobbies include fishing, restoring old games consoles and making miniature models.
Top of his bucket list is to visit Italy to see Roman ruins.
