Trainee Accountant
 
We are looking for an individual to join us as a trainee accountant. This role will be full time and would suit someone who has experience in a similar role & studying AAT (at least level 4) or newly AAT qualified.  The successful candidate will be eager to learn, have a good telephone manner and be able to communicate well. They should also be fully competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word).
 
This role will predominantly involve the following tasks;
 
  • Assisting the accounts team with sole trader/partnership accounts preparation
  • Summarising core records and balancing control accounts
  • Bookkeeping & VAT Returns using various cloud based packages
  • Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks such as taking client queries and passing them to the relevant person to be dealt with.
Salary - £16,000 - £18,000 per annum

Marketing Administrator
 
We are looking for an individual to join us as a Marketing Administrator. This role will be predominantly office based where you will work within the busy admin team supporting managers and clients. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, have a good telephone manner and be able to communicate well. Previous experience in both administration and marketing essential. They should also be fully competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word).
 
This role will predominantly involve the following tasks;
 
  • General administration duties such as client communications, letter writing, database management, HMRC/Companies House communications etc.
  • Attending various networking meetings
  • Social media
  • Training to assist practice growth
  • Website management
  • Newsletter/mailing management
Salary - £17,000 - £24,000 per annum

Bookkeeper
 
We are looking for an individual to join us as a bookkeeper. Experience and qualification within bookkeeping essential. Knowledge of cloud accounting packages such as Xero, FreeAgent, Quickbooks & Kashflow is also required. The successful candidate will able to manage their own workload, have a good telephone manner and be able to communicate well. They should also be fully competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word).
 
This role will predominantly involve the following tasks;
 
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
  • Reconciling control accounts for the accounts team
  • Provide Cloud Accounting training to clients
  • Sales, Purchase Ledger and Bank reconciliations
Salary - £15,500 - £17,500 per annum
Job Type: Full-time (Flexibility available but minimum 25 hours/week)
 
Accounts Administrator
 
We are looking for an individual to join us as an Accounts Administrator. This role will be full time where you will work within a busy team supporting managers and clients. Previous experience within the Accountancy/Financial industry essential with a good level of general tax and accounting knowledge required. The successful candidate will be organised, have a good telephone manner and be able to communicate well. They should also be fully competent in
 
Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word).
 
The role will predominantly involve the following tasks;
 
  • Formation of new companies
  • Registrations with HMRC for all taxes
  • Administer post in and updating databases with key information
  • Telephone/email answering
  • Face to face client liaison
  • Other general administration tasks as required
Salary: £15,600.00 to £18,000.00 per annum
